About Us
We run a Sessional Care in accordance with the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016. Tots and Co Playschool is a privately-owned early years’ service. The Manager is Colette Phelan. We are open from 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 38 weeks per year. We cater for 22 children at any time, aged between 2 ½ and 6 years old.

To deliver a quality curriculum which addresses children’s well-being, identity and belonging, communication, and exploring and thinking, along the Principle of Aistear (the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework).

To make our service accessible to all members of the community, regardless of race, gender, family status, age, disability, or religious belief.
Work with Síolta
To work with Síolta (The National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education) by following its 12 Principle of quality and the 16 standards within its framework.
Follow good pratices and regulations
We operate within the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016 and good practice standards.
Safe environment
To ensure the environment is planned and well organised in a way that suits the different needs of individual children, while keeping in mind the importance of Safety and Hygiene.
Actively welcome parents/guardians
To actively welcome parents/guardians at all times. We endeavor to share information and communicate with parents/guardians directly, in order to give feedback at the end of each day and to ensure that they are made aware of on-going developments in policies and procedures.
Promote a positive atmosphere
We promote a positive atmosphere where children, staff and parents/guardians are treated with respect.
